Celebration of Life for Marcus Freiberger

Tonight, we are celebrating the life of Marcus Freiberger with a candlelight vigil at 6:30pm at The Royale Phoenix outside courtyard. Marcus Freiberger was a part of our Melrose Yoga family. We are moved by how many souls Marcus touched, evident through the outpouring of support from every corner of our community country and the entire planet. Marcus had an undeniable magnetism, drawing others in with his kindness. He had a way of knowing when you were struggling, even when you were trying to hide it; he'd sit with you so you were not alone.

He wasn’t just a teacher—he was a bright, kind, gentle force who made people feel safe, seen, and cared for. His sudden death has rocked our community, and we are devastated.

We still don’t know what happened. AND THAT’S NOT OK.

We cannot be quiet about this. We won’t just move on. Marcus deserves answers.

His family, his friends, his students—we all deserve the truth. So please, don’t let this fade away. Keep sharing his story. Keep asking questions. Stay loud. Stay aware. Stay angry if you need to—because silence helps no one.

Marcus, we will not forget you; we will not stop pushing for answers!
